Mr. Bruce is proud to be returning to direct All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 for Bodhi Tree Concerts.

 

Jacob is currently adjunct faculty at the University of San Diego, where he has directed “Art”, and served as a fight choreographer and movement/staging consultant on several productions, while teaching Acting, Intro to Theatre, and serving as the faculty advisor for the
USD Improv Club.

 

He also directed “Snicklefritz” at Finest City Improv and was the co-creator of “The $5 Only Show” at Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angels. Jacob has served as fight director and staging consultant for a number of theatres around San Diego, including the La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego Opera, Diversionary, and the MFA program at UCSD. In bewteen directing gigs, he is a professional stage, film, and television actor. Jacob is also a journeyman carpenter with IATSE Local 122, and has worked behind the scenes of dozens of shows, including the Broadway productions of “Come From Away”, “Diana”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, and “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical”.
