Ann Chase, Soprano
ANN CHASE has enjoyed a long career in the San Diego
community as a soprano soloist in opera, oratorio, choral
music, cabaret, musical theatre, recitals and more. She
founded and directed CABARETCACCIA, engaging solo
singers of all styles in programs of Jacques Brel, Kurt
Weill, Stephen Sondheim, Bulgarian music, Gospel, and Jazz.
She was co-founder of the San Diego Chamber Music
Ensemble, CAMARADA, performing music from
Schoenberg to Gershwin. She has taught at San Diego
State University, The University of California, San Diego,
California State University San Marcos, Palomar
Community College, and in her private studio in Leucadia.
She is married to conductor David Chase and proud
mother of flutist Claire Chase and baritone Darren Chase.
