Danielle Perrault - Mezzo-Soprano
Danielle Perrault, mezzo-soprano, is a New York-born, San Diego-raised singer specializing in operatic repertoire. In recent years she has sung the roles of Kate in The Pirates of Penzance, Flora in La Traviata, Ruggiero in Alcina, Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, and Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti.
Solo oratorio appearances include Beethoven’s Mass in C, Mozart’s Requiem, Haydn’s Missa Cellensis, Handel’s Messiah, and the modern world premier of Manuel Garcia’s Mass in D Major in Spain.
Locally, she has appeared with the San Diego Opera, San Diego City Opera, San Diego Master Chorale, San Diego Symphony, SACRA/PROFANA, Bodhi Tree Concerts, and the Village Community Chorale.
While pursuing her Master of Music degree in Opera Performance at the University of Kansas, Danielle frequently performed as a chorister with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City and the Eutiner Festspiele in Germany. Danielle now resides in San Marcos, and when not performing, she works as the worship and arts administrator at The Village Community Presbyterian Church.
