Tenor Phillip Dannels has been seen most recently as Danilo in Point Loma Opera Theatre's production of Lehar's Die lustige Witwe. Other roles include Nardo in Mozart's La finta giardiniera and Le Doyen in Massenet's Cendrillon, as well as scenes as Jaquino in Beethoven's Fidelio and Nadir in Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles. His concert experience includes performing as the tenor soloist for Saint-Saëns' Oratorio de Noël, Charpentier's Messe de Minuit pour Noël, Haydn's Creation, and Handel's Messiah. In addition, he has sung in multiple productions with the San Diego Opera Chorus. Future engagements include the title role in Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann with Point Loma Opera Theatre in Summer 2014.
