Making her San Diego debut, internationally renowned soprano Melody Moore with Bodhi Tree favorite Ines Irawati, collaborative pianist, will present a rich and personal program of song and aria, including selections from Melody’s recently released and Grammy-nominated album, Remembering Tebaldi.

A nonstop musical exploration of everyday struggles in the modern world, from unrequited adoration to aging, marriage to dating again, tackled with resounding sincerity and precisely placed hilarity. Stage direction by Shirley Johnston and music direction by Bryan Verhoye.

A San Diego premier, The Falling and the Rising is a story of family, service, and sacrifice, as it chronicles the imagined journey of a soldier suspended inside a coma. We follow her way through a miraculous dreamscape, punctuated with the lives of other fellow service members. Stage direction by Kym Pappas and music direction by Karen Keltner, with orchestra.
