Bodhi Tree Concerts continues its popular romp through the Gilbert & Sullivan’s canon with The Gondoliers - to benefit International Rescue Committee San Diego

Sunday, September 25, 2016 – 4:00pm

All Souls’ Episcopal Church

1475 Catalina Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107

Bodhi TreeConcerts, a San Diego pioneer of arts organizations partnering with and donating to charities, now in its fifth year of philanthropy through the arts, continues its popular Sing-A-Long Series with Gilbert & Sullivan’s THE GONDOLIERS. Audience members can sing-a-long with an all-star local cast on this classic operetta containing all your favorite G&S traits: mistaken identities, babies switched at birth, charming lyrics and wonderful tunes. The charitable partner for this event is International Rescue Committee of San Diego who responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Join Bodhi Tree Concerts for an afternoon of silly fun all to benefit a serious and timely cause. Reception with the artists will follow.

Tickets are $20 (students & military $10) and may be purchased online at bodhitreeconcerts.org

One hundred percent of the profits from this concert will be donated to International Rescue Committee of San Diego.

The IRC in San Diego opened in 1975 in response to the arrival of Vietnamese refugees resettling to the area, and has since grown to serve approximately 1,000 new refugee arrivals from many countries around the world each year. To date, we have resettled over 28,500 refugees from 29 countries. Our programs are designed to ensure refugees thrive in America - whether ensuring children are enrolled in school, adults become self-reliant through employment or starting businesses, or families receive acute medical care they need to recover from trauma or illness.
